Audio SILS in the Rehabilitation of the Mentally Ill This is a presentation by Dr. Liberman at the annual meeting of the European Association of Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Dr. Liberman presents the evidence for the fundamental assumptions that are the cornerstone for Psychiatric Rehabilitation----clients can learn and retain the skills that allow them to achieve their goals for improved social functioning. He then discusses the 7 learning activities of the modules, and details how the 7 learning activities operationalize these assumptions. Dr. Liberman concludes with a discussion about dissemination and how the modules are structured so that they can be used with little to no training by staff regardless of discipline or clinical experience. Hence, the modules can replace ineffective techniques and be widely available to all clients. To Order
